Playground Chips

Sawtooth Materials' certified playground chips are manufactured and processed to meet the American Society for Testing and Material (ASTM) standards. Sawtooth Materials, Inc. certifies, and independent laboratories validate the manufacturer’s conformance to ASTM F2075 (Sections 4 and 7); standard specification for engineered wood fiber for use as a playground safety surface under and around playground equipment, and ASTM F1292-04; standard specification for impact attenuation of surface systems under and around playground equipment, and ASTM F1951-99; standard specification for determination of accessibility of surface systems under and around playground equipment. These standards are valid when the product is used as recommended by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) for play-ground surfaces.
